So yeah, my bro’s n’ I went to the Capital of Denmark. Oh yeah thats right you guessed right. Copenhagen! The Capital of Capitals of Capitals… We were crowded by hoes n’ beetches…

No not really. We just went on a peaceful little trip to our beloved anime/manga/rpg dealer Faraos Cigarer, who would have guessed that? I’m sure you didn’t. Anyways. This we were, Glem, Mads and me. We invited some other people to come, but they had other plans. But well it was pretty fun anyways.

The day started out with us meeting at the station in Slagelse, the sun already started pounding on my windows at 4 am. I woke up and was pretty hot. The weather guys on TV said that it would be somewhere between 25 and 30 degrees outside today, so it was perfect weather to try out my new shades. Anyways. After a shower, some breakfast and other stuff, I took my mums lowrider, iron horse, call it what you want, and pedaled my way to Slagelse Station. I met up with Glem, and soon Mads was there.

We arrived in Copenhagen and went straight towards Faraos Cigarer, we were kind of in a hurry, cause the stores closed already at 3pm. Anyways, we got to the RPG store and Glem bought some pouches and some mana stones for LARP and Magic. Mads bought some booster packs, and what did I get, nothing, actually this time there wasn’t really anything that interrested me. So yeah after they finished up we got to the Manga/Anime department. Oh yeah. Great stuff they have there. So yeah, I got me some more Ghost in the Shell, vol. 1.5 and Stand Alone Complex vol. 1, 2 and 3. They didn’t have GITS vol. 2. I also got the Samurai Champloo DVD box, and this nice asian girl went in the back of the store to get me one wrapped in plastic – I recon she was Japanese. Domo arigato I dunno what Glem got exactly but he got himself some Tsukuhime and other stuff. Mads bought some Warcraft manga. I dunno.

After we paid for our stuff, some of our friends suddenly pops in the store. What a nice suprise. David, Holm, Lee and some chicks that I didn’t know. Well we talked for a bit, but they had some other stuff to do. Such as going to shop in Netto for some food and then do some other stuff. So we just continued to Fantask, where we’d never been before. But it was actually quite easy to find after asking for some directions twice, because I forgot to install any maps on my internet Tablet, so it was quite useless for finding directions. Anyways, Fantask had the last volume of Ghost in the Shell, which I got – also ordered the first three volumes of Initial D, because they only had from 11 – 30 there – and I guess it’s best to read the series from the start. So within 3 weeks I should have them. I think Glem got some Megatokyo or something, I dunno. I think that was it.

Now it was time for some f00dz and something to drink. We went to McDonalds this time, and I must say that it was better than Sunset and KFC. Well the taste was. But wtf is up with those Chiken BBQ wraps. I got two of them, and they were tiny. Like two bites, and they cost freaking 15 DKK each. Imagine that I could have eaten a kebab instead and would have had the sensation of haveing eaten something. But yeah they tasted quite good. Little bit spicey and chicken. You can never go wrong with chicken. Also the cola in McD has ice cubes in it! KFC didn’t have that, Sunset Blvd. didn’t have that. I bet Burger King doesn’t have that either. Oh yeah Glem wanted me to say that the french fries were a lot better than the ones in Sunset Blvd. But still lacked the salt. Though the potato boats that came with the BIG BAD BBQ were pretty awesome. I can only recommend those.

So yeah after we finished eating our meals we went over to the train station where, I bought some ice for all of us – and then we went home. All in all a pretty good trip I must say. Looking forward to the next one. Oh yeah and the sades worked perfectly fine

Yeah, so yesterday some friends and I decided to go visit Faraos Cigarer, yet again. It’s not been very long time since we visited the stores, but well when you run out of manga to read, you better get your arse out and do some shopping. Anyways, the trip went great. I met this dude the others knew from LARP, he was pretty cool. He showed me some extra ways to annoy our beloved Glem (yeah if you are reading this, we actually like you and don’t hate you, like a certain person does). Anyways, I got my hands on a Rahxephon box and sum’ o’ dat Ghost in The Shell manga, both Ghost in The Shell an Ghost in The Shell 2: Innocence. I liked the anime a lot, so now I have to have the manga.

Oh well during our little trip we made some room for a little bit of magic. Though I didn’t bring my deck this cool dude Holm, did bring a couple of decks, so I was able to participate. But yeah, the deck was a bit slow and had crits that required a lot of mana, so I got my ass whooped.

After the little shopping spree we went into this fast food restaurant called KFC, yeah that stands for Kentucky Fried Chicken, and it was invented in Kentucky if you didn’t figure that out yourself. Anyways, I ordered this crispy strips chicken menu, which was pretty good, apart from the french fries that came with it. They were worse than in Sunset Boulevard that we visited last time. They tasted of nothing, and they weren’t salted, like why do everyone stop salting their french fries now? Is it a new trend that just popped up suddenly? Well screw it! I’m not going to buy ‘ne more french fries anywhere, unless I get to make them myself!

Oh yeah I forgot, before we went to Faraos Cigarer, some of the group wanted to go into this goth clothing store, so we went there first, and to my luck I found this pretty cool record store just right above it that was called Sex Beat Records. There was this dude behind this register, he was pretty stoned, had long hair and was wearing a t-shirt saying “if there was any color darker than black, I would wear it”. But yeah i got myself some Opeth and Beyond Twilight.

Well the trip imo was pretty good, couldn’t wish for more. Probably going next month or something to get some more supplies.

So ends the annual Fastaval, which is Denmark’s biggest role playing congress with loads of exciting scenarios, both LARP and pen&paper – not to forget loads of board and card games.

It has been four years since I was there last time, and I must say this time was a lot better. It was very well organised, the game masters were awesome and the stories very well made. The only downside was that we had to sleep on another school that was about a km or two away and it was freezing outside, even though it was spring.

The scenarios I played were To Alen and Requiem. The first one a Star Wars scenario about 3 jedi’s and two mercenaries who are sent on a mission to a planet to investigate the death of a padawan. The other a vampire scenario without a system, where you wake up in Denmark under Kolding Hus 400 years after you were burried – some peasants found you and you start with running for your life cause the peasants have summoned a very powerful priest – the only thing you remember is that you have to fulfill a profecy and where your master were living, and you are thristy as hell for blood.

Both scenarios were very interesting and the GM’s did a really good job to make you feel like you were actually there, especially Troels Rohde Hansen that was the writer and GM for To Alen. He made us do some LARPing, preteding to have light sabres in our hands, blaster riffles and what not. Very entertaining.

Apart from the two official Fastaval scenarios, I also played some D&D with some friends from our local youth school, one with starter level chars and one I had played before and where my char had reached level 12, a pretty cool monk.

Well all in all the overall experience was very good, I cannot complain. I’m looking forward to next years Fastaval.

Some friends and I went to the great city of Copenhagen which happens to be the capital of our glorious country, Denmark. We went on this epic trip to Faraos Cigar, which is a nice place to shop for epic books, rpg equipment and other awesome and neat stuff, including anime and manga – YES! I wrote anime and manga! I bought some cool stuff that I happened to need to survive! Yes all volumes of Death Note and some Vampire Hunter D and some D6 books. Items that are indeed crucial to survive in this cruel world.
So yeah after doing some shopping, which took longer than I expected, we went to Sunset boulevard to get something to eat – Yes real life heroes have to eat sometimes unlike the ones you play in your pathetic games! So yeah, we went to Sunset boulevard cause one of our party members recommended it to us. I ordered the pretty hot girl to make me one of the so called Extra Exotic, and since I was hungry I ordered it as a large menu, which includes french fries.
After some waiting for the food I finally get it, the Extra Exotic and the french fries. I start to eat the pretty good looking Extra Exotic, which is a sandwich FYI. I can say it tasted like… NOTHING! Even though it had chicken, salad and some strange sauce. It seriously didn’t taste of anything. It was so freaking bad, but since i paid like 50 gold for it I ate it and I was also hungry. After I had eaten the tasteless Extra Exotic I threw myself over the french fries that they had made a commercial of on TV, telling they were baked in the oven. Yeah like the Extra Exotic, they tasted like… NOTHING! Yeah you read it right, they tasted like NOTHING, NOTHING at all! What the fuck are those gold gathering good looking elves doing with my food when I look away while they prepare it? Casting some spells on it to make it taste like nothing while it looks tasty? I’m not stepping inside a freaking Sunset Boulevard anymore, ever!
I warn you! IT SUCKS!
Oh yeah the trip was awesome. I’d do that anytime!

I got Hellgate: London some weeks ago, and I’ve been playing it a couple of times, and I feel like I’m doing the same things over and over again. I get a quest, go kill the monsters or retrieve the item or go to hell and kill some monsters, and get back with some new info for the leader in the camp/station I’m at. When all quests are complete in the station I’m at, I go to the next one as asked, and repeat the same boring quests over and over again.

The games graphics are pretty nice, but I just don’t like the repetitive game play, which gets boring after I played it about 5 hours in total or so. So I am going to drop this game, and I’ll probably not return to it ever, cause it bores me so much when I play it. I’d rather play some older games like Diablo or Diablo II that reminds me of this game, but does not have the same graphics, and doesn’t have any guns, thats the whole difference. I wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone, unless I hate the person.
