Pimpin' in the streets of Copenhagen
So yeah, my bro’s n’ I went to the Capital of Denmark. Oh yeah thats right you guessed right. Copenhagen! The Capital of Capitals of Capitals… We were crowded by hoes n’ beetches…
No not really. We just went on a peaceful little trip to our beloved anime/manga/rpg dealer Faraos Cigarer, who would have guessed that? I’m sure you didn’t. Anyways. This we were, Glem, Mads and me. We invited some other people to come, but they had other plans. But well it was pretty fun anyways.
The day started out with us meeting at the station in Slagelse, the sun already started pounding on my windows at 4 am. I woke up and was pretty hot. The weather guys on TV said that it would be somewhere between 25 and 30 degrees outside today, so it was perfect weather to try out my new shades. Anyways. After a shower, some breakfast and other stuff, I took my mums lowrider, iron horse, call it what you want, and pedaled my way to Slagelse Station. I met up with Glem, and soon Mads was there.
We arrived in Copenhagen and went straight towards Faraos Cigarer, we were kind of in a hurry, cause the stores closed already at 3pm. Anyways, we got to the RPG store and Glem bought some pouches and some mana stones for LARP and Magic. Mads bought some booster packs, and what did I get, nothing, actually this time there wasn’t really anything that interrested me. So yeah after they finished up we got to the Manga/Anime department. Oh yeah. Great stuff they have there. So yeah, I got me some more Ghost in the Shell, vol. 1.5 and Stand Alone Complex vol. 1, 2 and 3. They didn’t have GITS vol. 2. I also got the Samurai Champloo DVD box, and this nice asian girl went in the back of the store to get me one wrapped in plastic – I recon she was Japanese. Domo arigato
I dunno what Glem got exactly but he got himself some Tsukuhime and other stuff. Mads bought some Warcraft manga. I dunno.
After we paid for our stuff, some of our friends suddenly pops in the store. What a nice suprise. David, Holm, Lee and some chicks that I didn’t know. Well we talked for a bit, but they had some other stuff to do. Such as going to shop in Netto for some food and then do some other stuff. So we just continued to Fantask, where we’d never been before. But it was actually quite easy to find after asking for some directions twice, because I forgot to install any maps on my internet Tablet, so it was quite useless for finding directions. Anyways, Fantask had the last volume of Ghost in the Shell, which I got – also ordered the first three volumes of Initial D, because they only had from 11 – 30 there – and I guess it’s best to read the series from the start. So within 3 weeks I should have them. I think Glem got some Megatokyo or something, I dunno. I think that was it.
Now it was time for some f00dz and something to drink. We went to McDonalds this time, and I must say that it was better than Sunset and KFC. Well the taste was. But wtf is up with those Chiken BBQ wraps. I got two of them, and they were tiny. Like two bites, and they cost freaking 15 DKK each. Imagine that I could have eaten a kebab instead and would have had the sensation of haveing eaten something. But yeah they tasted quite good. Little bit spicey and chicken. You can never go wrong with chicken. Also the cola in McD has ice cubes in it! KFC didn’t have that, Sunset Blvd. didn’t have that. I bet Burger King doesn’t have that either. Oh yeah Glem wanted me to say that the french fries were a lot better than the ones in Sunset Blvd. But still lacked the salt. Though the potato boats that came with the BIG BAD BBQ were pretty awesome. I can only recommend those.
So yeah after we finished eating our meals we went over to the train station where, I bought some ice for all of us – and then we went home. All in all a pretty good trip I must say. Looking forward to the next one. Oh yeah and the sades worked perfectly fine
