This is the best movie I have watched the last couple of hours! I cannot describe how good it was compared to the other, maybe because this was the only movie I watched! I am happy that I didn’t get to watch it in the cinema, last weekend because of all seat were taken.
The movie follows a father, which also happens to be a unsuccessful writer, who goes to Yellowstone National Park or whatever it is called with his kids to camp. He wants to show them something, but gets caught by the military and later released. Then all of the sudden, apocalypse! You may think:  ”what caused this?”. I’ll tell you, according to the movie, the sun farted, and the fart is obviously very radioactive and starts microwaving the earths core, but for some reason the rays do not harm people only water and the earths core, at some point the crust of the earth busts open, earthquakes happen, tsunamis begin to emerge and all of the earth gets flooded.
All that sounds reasonable to me, except the fact that the radiation that is heating the earths core, doesn’t effect humans. So the movie is missing people getting micro waved to death, how cool would that be?
Another thing that annoyed me was that the lead characters avoided dying like 10 times! First in a car where huge gaps formed in the earth, then next in a plane some 9 times where they almost crashed into collapsing buildings and stuff like that. Then under water where that family guy we follow can hold his breath for 5-6 minutes, AMAZING! He must be a diver or something!
Another thing is on the boat in those sealed chambers, the Russian chick dies, because the middle chamber somehow gets flooded, even though those doors are supposed to stop the flood, somehow water is leaking in fast, but it doesn’t do that in the other chambers!
I have more stuff to bash this movie about but seriously, another apocalypse movie? I think we had enough to cover most of the stories. Seriously you cannot make a good movie about this subject anymore! This movie sucks! It blows, some scenes are OK, but most of it is crap. Special effects are mediocre. Music? There was practically none, just a shit load of scenes with a lot of explosions and sound effects of stuff exploding or crashing.

So in short the movie is about sun farts, boils earth, a shit load of people survives on some Chinese boats end of story. I didn’t like it people were too lucky some stuff was just ridiculous. NOT RECOMMENDED!

But the movie itself is a pretty good action movie with a lot of senseless beating, explosions and ass shots of Megan Fox’s ass. It also contain a lot of bad jokes which can be quite funny when you have been drinking a couple of beers.

I really like how Megan Fox’s white pants stay white throughout the whole movie even though she runs through the desert, stuff explodes near her and loads of other things happen to her that really should soil her pants. Only at the end you see her pants being a bit dirty; which leads me to the question: “How do I get some?”.

No but seriously it is pretty good if you want action, if you don’t like action movies and are looking for a good history, don’t watch this. You will get disappointed, like really, really disappointed. Because there is practically none and most of it is bad jokes and awesome explosions and fight scenes! You will also find out that the US military really sucks in this move and cannot even protect a small shard from the All-spark cube they destroyed in the first movie…

But to get to conclusion, watch it if you like action movies with almost no story, lots of hot ladies, nice cars and explosions!

Anyways, the movie starts off by showing this English talking weapons manufacturer, who had made some warheads with nano-technology which can eat any kind of material – now that is very cool! These warheads, which are located in a suitcase with trackers and stuff, are going to be moved to a secure location by the American military. They get attacked by people with a lot better technology and of course almost loose the suitcase, but get saved by a secret division of the military, with same or similar tech as the villains. Fight scenes here are cool. But something strikes me. The villains who have armored suits soldiers can only die by getting hit in the eye with an arrow, and not with bullet it seems. Later in the movie they die almost instantaneously, what the hell is up with that? Special effects here were very bad as well! But yeah they get the suitcase back to their base, the only two people from the American army that did not have any techy stuff get saved and brought with the special secret division to their secret base with the warheads. They call that weapon dude back, and it shows that he had ordered the ambush, and activates a tracking beacon in the suitcase as he inspects them through a hologram. So… A secret base, with loads of technology… IT CANNOT PROTECT ITSELF FROM TRACKING BEACONS?! It is not shielded for signals. HAHAHAH. FAIL!

So the rest movie goes along this path and because of the stupid non-shielded secret base in the dessert have the warheads stolen, hell breaks loose in France and the Eiffel-tower has to suffer its death, because the to main characters are sent out in armored suits with super speed and big weapons, which seems to not to be able to disable a simple armored Hummer H2! Not even cars crashing into its side could not stop it. In the end a train stops it by making it fly 20 meters in the air having it burn inside, but the people inside it survive with no scratch – well made… NOT! And guess what. The villains escape…

Ok, I am not going to spoil anymore but the rest of the movie is not any good and I will not recommend watching it. Because it only gets worse in the end. With loads of flashbacks and shit.

The music and sound it this movie is OK. I have heard worse – I mean like in old Bruce Lee movies where they didn’t have any computers or cool synthesizers to make the effects for them.

Visual effects are really really bad. Explosions look like crap, techy guns fire some blue wavy stuff that makes things blow up, thats cool, but its very bad made.

Story sucks and is very messy.

All in all… This movie sucks, only reason I would watch it is because of the two hot chicks in the movie. The dark haired girl, who was once a blond have pretty nice lungs.

If I am to rate this movie. I would rate it 1/10 stars on IMDB, only one star because of the chicks, the rest of the movie SUCKS! Do not watch it, you will get disappointed!
