Ordered N810

Nokia N810 from the side

So the Nokia N810 Internet tablet has been out for some months various places on earth, but it hasn’t been released officially in Denmark. I decided to get me one of these Internet tablets, which I ordered from Nokia direct, where you can get it for approximate €490 with freight included in the price, which is pretty common for this device. I could have gotten it from a Danish retailer, for about 200DKK more, so I decided to get it directly from Nokia, and save the 200DKK for a 8 GB microSD card.

Now I’m looking forward to get the device, It should be able to view flash 9 objects with its Mozilla based browser, which means I would be able to watch videos from youtube, and other similar sites. But also play ScummWM games, and do other cool stuff, such as navigate through the GPS, listen to music, remote control my server and instant message with my friends. All this comes in a nice small package with a pretty big screen, and built in 2GB space. I’m so excited and can’t wait for it to arrive.

For those who don’t know what a Nokia N810 is you can go to Nokia’s webpage and see for your self.

Robson module now working

So yeah, I saw that Zepto recently release a new BIOS update for my laptop, which is a Zepto 6324W. After I got my harddrive replaced in the laptop, I asked Zepto to fit in an Intel Turbo Memory module, it’s also known as a Robson module, since that is the codename of the product.

Anyways, after a BIOS update, it all seemed to work. Before the BIOS update it said that ReadyBoost was activated, but not ReadyDrive. I messed around with the drivers for the module a lot before the BIOS update, but now it seems to work fine.

According to anandtechs test of the Robson module, it can give you a little performance boost along with more battery time, though it isn’t much.

The frog story

Heh, a friend of mine sent me a link to a forum where this guy posted a story about how a Tadpole hatched in his Urethra. I found it very funny, and I just wanted to share it here.

It is pretty long, so if you want to read it, press the read more link. More… »

MyAnimeList.net – sugoi~!

If you didn’t know about MyAnimeList.net (MAL) before now, it’s about time that you go visit the site now! It is a place where you can make your own anime and manga list, that is customizable through CSS – but not only that! MAL also has a very large community with over 30k members, a lot of them are active in the forums and club, where people discuss about everything! One of the best parts about MAL is that they have an IRC channel with a lot of active users, there you can chat with a lot of the people behind the site, that moderates the forums, updates the databases and even talk to the creator Xinil!
MAL is all worth it if you are an anime watcher or manga reader, it is a very great resource to find out about new anime and manga.

Iron Maiden in Horsens 27. July

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I got my hands on a ticket to the Iron Maiden concert that is going to take place in Horsens 27. July. I’m going with a good friend. I wanted to go to the one last year, but I wasn’t fast enough to buy a ticket, cause it was rumored that it was the last time they were going to play. Luckily I got a ticket this time. The funny thing is that the ticket costs the number of the beast ^_~

FYI the ticket can be bought here: Billetlugen.dk

New theme and other site updates

I decided to put a new theme up on the site, which I think looks a lot better than the old – though it has to be modified a lot because the code is pretty bad made, which makes the bottom part of the site not stay there, when there isn’t much content on the site – that doesn’t look pretty, so it has to be corrected.

Apart from that the next thing I am going to do with this site, is to implement some sort of gallery, so I can upload pictures I have taken and will take in the future. I also have to add a download page and some other stuff – when I finish it all up it will be so freaking awesome and blow your brains!
